Ward's Berry Farm
Branding, Packaging, Web Design, Social Media
A project where Ward's Berry Farm underwent a rebrand of their logo, packaging material, and social media presence.
Overview
To help Ward's Berry Farm establish a strong visual identity, I took on a conceptual rebranding project which included a redesigned logo, a modernized homepage for their website, engaging social media posts, and an array of packaging designs for their products. By strategically utilizing their brand colors, typography, and graphic elements, I aimed to create a cohesive and recognizable visual identity for the company.
The Brief
Ward's Berry Farm was looking to have a brand refresh as well as updating their digital, social, and commercial presence to reach their audiences of all ages.
A brand refresh required a look at both their physical and social presence. A new website would need to be created as well as social media posts, their packaging, and branded items. Emphasis was to be put on freshness and quality as well.
Logo Design
The Brief
Ward's Berry Farm wanted to retain the colors of their original brand as well as keeping the identity of being a family-friendly berry farm in Massachusetts. Therefore, some instance of a berry would need to be present in their logo.
The Solution
Keeping the original brand colors, I created a logo that could be versatile in it's placement upon white and colored backgrounds as well as establishing their brand's logo to be recognized simply with the logomark if desired.
Within this logomark, I wanted to allude to the variety of their most popular berries grown on the farm by illustrating each berry outlined within it.
Web Homepage
The Brief
Ward's recognized the need to refresh their brand and requested a new website that would serve as a central hub for their company. In addition to providing essential information on their history and mission, the website would also feature a blog section to keep visitors engaged and informed.
The goal was to create a cohesive and comprehensive online presence that would effectively communicate the company's values and vision.
The Solution
Given Ward's status as a family-run farm, I centered the homepage around this characteristic, emphasizing their story and the values that make them unique. While they are primarily a berry farm, it was important to showcase that they offer more than just produce.
A gallery section was added to the page to entice visitors to explore and learn more about the farm. Additionally, blog posts provide a platform to share news and information about upcoming events.
Social Media
The Brief
Ward's Berry farm sought to expand their reach and attract new customers to the farm through effective use of social media. They requested visually appealing media posts that would capture the attention of viewers and encourage them to visit the farm.
The Solution
I utilized Ward's Berry Farm's brand colors and fonts to design six eye-catching splash media posts, each highlighting a unique aspect of the farm, including their delicious berries, baked goods, job openings, and exciting offerings.
Packaging
The Brief
To align with their refreshed logo and brand identity, Ward's sought a redesign of their packaging, display items, and physical marketing materials.
The Solution
To align with Ward's updated logo and branding, I revamped their packaging, display items, and physical marketing materials. For their personal jams, I designed a new packaging label that incorporated the brand's graphic assets, reflecting the contents of each jam flavor.
I added the tagline "Always Fresh" and a brief description to emphasize their commitment to using quality ingredients and the family-oriented farm concept. I also created produce boxes, recyclable bags, and a tent that could be used at events or farmer's markets to further promote the brand.

Web Homepage
The Brief
Friends of Minute Man National Park want their homepage to better engage visitors, increase donations, and promote park events.
The Solution
This homepage strikes a balance between honoring history and highlighting the natural beauty of Minute Man National Park. It seamlessly provides visitors with valuable information about upcoming events, the mission of Friends of Minute Man National Park as an organization, and keeps them engaged with the park's offerings, all with the unwavering support of the organization.
Soldier Search Webpage
A unique source of information that the Friends of Minute Man National Park offer is the soldier search. For this page I wanted to update it to reflect the brand, but also keep history at the forefront and emphasize the use of donations to the organization.
Brochure
The Brief
The Friends of Minute Man National Park expressed the need for new print material, with a special emphasis on creating an informative brochure that would serve as a valuable resource for the public for different seasons.
Given the diverse range of events and activities hosted by the park, the brochure would offer an easy and engaging way to keep visitors up-to-date with the latest park happenings.
The Brief
To deliver the information in a visually engaging and easily accessible way, I utilized a thoughtful approach to space, contrast, and hierarchy of text in the design of this brochure.
Additionally, I ensured that the brochure effectively highlighted the park's most historically significant events, with a special emphasis on those taking place during the spring season, which holds particular importance at the National Park.
Newsletter
The Brief
To complement the new information on their website and brochures, the organization sought a newsletter that would effectively promote upcoming activities and events at Minute Man National Park in celebration of Patriot's Day. The newsletter needed to showcase a selection of activities, while also encouraging donations to the Patriots' Day Fund.
The Brief
In designing the newsletter, I carefully selected captivating imagery and photography aimed at piquing the reader's interest and creating excitement for the upcoming events at Minute Man National Park. My objective was to inspire readers to consider contributing to the organization's Patriots' Day Fund, which plays a vital role in supporting the park and its dedicated volunteers during this pivotal time.
By featuring the park's most popular events, I aimed to spark interest in attending and make the newsletter a resource for all enthusiasts of the park. This can also be used as a template if they needed for future letters.
Website Homepage
The Brief
The brief is to design a website homepage that effectively conveys how Profyle is the premier facial recognition software company, while also emphasizing their commitment to data privacy and security. It's essential to highlight the company's unique selling points and provide a clear call to action for visitors to learn more about their services.
The Solution
Focusing on how Profyle utilizes facial recognition software, I created
Mobile App
The Brief
Wanting to offer their technology to the public, Profyle wants an app designed that can utilize their software. Only the names of those who are scanned should be displayed along with the location. Any other information would be a breach of privacy when used by a non-commercial or non-government affiliated program.
The Solution
I ensured that the Profyle brand was consistent when designingthe app, with careful consideration of typography and color choice. The interface is user-friendly, with only essential information such as name and location displayed, and ample spacing to avoid appearing cluttered. The app prompts the user to scan a face using their phone camera, with clear instructions provided. Additionally, a separate screen serves as a database to store scanned faces, as desired by the user.

Brand Identity Manual
The Brief
Profyle needs a brand identity manual to outline their core values and provide guidelines for the appropriate usage of their logo, typography, and brand colors.
The Solution
The brand identity manual I created takes a cue from the logo design, incorporating Profyle's brand colors and typography throughout. The manual includes the company's purpose, goals, and guidelines for the proper use of the logo, such as sizing and positioning, typography choices, and approved brand colors. Additionally, it includes logo mockups and examples of incorrect usage to maintain consistency and ensure brand integrity.
Stationery
The Brief
To maintain a consistent brand image with stationery items including letterhead, business cards, mailers, and envelopes.
The Solution
To achieve the branding goals, I designed a stationery set that utilized brand colors and design elements to keep everything cohesive. The stationery set includes letterheads, business cards, mailers, folders, and envelopes that feature assets from the logo to emphasize the use of facial recognition software. Text colors and sizes were adjusted to draw the viewer's attention to the content.
Standard App Icons
The Brief
After the Standard Work App was launched, many departments in the company began uploading their documents into the system and then loaded into the app. In order for their department's documentation to be viewed, an icon would need to be produced for their collections.
The Solution
Working with the various departments who needed assistance with creating an icon, I designed several spreads based off of their department as well as examples they provided on what was to be included in the icon such as iconography and symbols.

SCMLIM - Supply Chain Material Logistics and Inventory Management
SPM - Substation Metropolitan Underground and HVD Policy and Procedure Manual
Electric Standard Manuals
The Brief
Once the TERM manual was launched the EDM (Electric Distribution Manual) and EDEM (Electric Distribution Engineering Manual)manuals were to be next. These manuals contain over 1,000+ images each and contain very technical illustrations, wireframes, and diagrams across both manuals.
The Solution
Similar to the TERM manual, these also needed to have a tight and consistent style guide due to the nature and importance of the illustrations to be used by line workers out in the field. Very close attention to detail was mandatory. I converted the images.
Much of this work can't be displayed due to the nature and company policy. However, I can present the assets that were created to streamline this conversion process as well as show non-published ideations at this time.
EDEM - Electric Meter Clearance
EDEM - Streetlight House Shields
EMOS - Ohm's Law
Packaging
The Brief
Bright, vibrant, and short-n-sweet. The packaging needs to be easy to read/understand while also giving ample information to the customer on steps to care for the plant. The packaging needs to house the plant and still deliver ways to soak sunlight and water.
The Solution
Honing in on how these are plants that are easy to care for, I translated this idea into the packaging by creating a greenhouse-like container to house each plant. Square slats towards the top of the packaging allow for light just as a window would. Since the brand colors are bright, I choose to keep them instanced to areas where they wouldn't impede on information and wouldn't overwhelm the illustrations that appear on the packaging.
Templates
There are three different types of packaging depending on teh type of plant. The categories include Herbs, Decorative, and Succulents. Each series has one of the Easy Plant branding colors.
Plant Stakes
As an addition to receiving a plant, each plant package will come with a small garden stake with the name of the plant. This is a nice addition due to many not rememberign the name of their plants once they recylce the packaging.
Illustrations
All of the plant imagery upon all of the packaging was hand-drawn to reference each plant and each series.
Process Work
My illustrations were all based off of the idea of having them exude in various places of the circular frame to show depth to the image. I utilized different colored strokes to section off various portions of the image to make it visually easier to manage since the illustration is rather detailed..
